Star party of July 24-30 2003, in Grandview, above Owens valley, California.
It is North of Death valley. the campground is at an altitude of around 8600 ft on White mountain.

C'est au nord de "Death valley". Le camping est a une altitude d'env. 2800 m sur White mountain.

	Already on the way back. The road is sometimes narrow, one line only, for both way, in this case. Deja sur le chemin du retour. La route est parfois etroite, a cette endroit, il n'y a qu'une voie pour les deux sens.

Be sure to check the vehicle brakes before such a trip. Their is about 26 miles up to Big Pine, mostly down hill. Controler les freins avant un tel voyage. Il y a env. 42 km jusqu'a Big Pine, la plus part en pente.
